The Incredible Amazing Life of "T"

I can't believe it has been over a year since I posted here. I am so so sorry. So many things have happened in the past year. I moved apartments, states, law schools, and got a puppy. It is official. Once I finish my last final next Friday I will be a 3L.  Coincidentally, I did not know if I would be saying this so soon after what happened a couple of months ago. My former law school the Charlotte Law School got into so much trouble with the government that I did not feel confident I could trust the school itself with my legal education,so I left this past December. The transition was difficult. Colleagues, friends, and classmates all torn apart in the blink of an eye. I continue to believe that I am blessed. I found a school that accepted me and everything I came with. Everything works out how it is supposed to because now I am confident that this school and its network will place me on the trajectory necessary for me to be the best advocate I can be. So I have started my law school studies, and the journey to get here was no joke. I didn't end up going to school in the city that I had planned, but God had his own plans. Being a 1L is tough, but I am trusting the process because I know what is on the other side if I remain steadfast and prayerful. I'll keep you updated.

LIVING WATER There was this little seed And in a garden it was sowed It had the warmth of the sun But it needed water to grow. Now this very seed was watered By the raindrops that fell from the sky It was even given water By many people who walked by. Even though it was given plenty of water This kind of water was never enough For you see this seed's heart was dry And it was also very tough. Now one day a stranger walked by And poured a different kind of water on top This seed was so excited That it absorbed every last drop. For the water this stranger gave Was not of an ordinary kind It didn't cost the seed a thing Not even one thin dime.
